Team Greentech Consultants recently visited two sugar units of Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries Ltd. to review the progress of the Steam Economy Project and discuss the operational strategy for the forthcoming sugar season.

The discussions also focused on achieving improved process efficiency without considering diversion of B-Heavy Molasses, Syrup or Thick Juice. Detailed deliberations were also held on various measures required for efficiency improvement at the juice extraction and clarification stages, with particular emphasis on ensuring minimum recirculation of sugars and non-sugars.
